'Unconfirmed' titles now confirmed! Well, almost...

The following updates refer to entries in the 'Unconfirmed Widescreen' listing:

ADVENTURES OF THE POLAR CUBS (1979) turns out to be a cel-animated film, though the original aspect ratio remains unconfirmed.

LA CAMERIERA SEDUCE I VILLEGGIANTI (It - 1980) has now been dropped from the 'unconfirmed' listings and out of the filmography altogether. Online footage reveals a 1.85:1 movie which is not in scope or 3-D, despite long-lasting rumours to the contrary. There is nothing in the on-screen credits which supports either scope or 3-D origination.

Online footage reveals CHAMPION OPERATION (HK - 1986) to have been shot with spherical lenses and released with a 1.85:1 aspect ratio. The footage is clearly spherical in origin, and the vast majority of scope movies produced in HK at the time utilised anamorphic lenses. Since the footage in the YouTube link isn't severely cropped at either side of the image, it's safe to assume the film was 1.85:1 and not 2.39:1. The entry has now been dropped altogether.

Same goes for CHILDREN OF GOD (Bahamas - 2009) and MADE IN ROMANIA (UK - 2009), both of which were filmed with spherical lenses and exhibited at 1.85:1.
