New entries (14 Apr 2012)

Thanks to the extensive filmography included at the Kung Fu Cinema forums, I'll be spending the next few days tackling outstanding entries in the IFD / Filmark 'cut-n-paste' series from the 1980's and 90's. I've added a few extra titles recently, but more will be forthcoming over the next week or so.

Info remains scarce on many of these cult items, and I'm unaware of any single source which has managed to identify all the various Asian films used as templates for these 'new' productions, which makes it all the more worthwhile (and frustrating!) for any dedicated researcher. Working on a project the size of the scope filmography, you learn that it's not just about listing individual films, but also identifying those few entries whose origins are rather less straightforward than first envisaged.

New entries for the filmog:

The films NJERIU ME TOP, NOČNÍ HOST, DE RØDE HESTE, SECONDLØITNANTEN, and TEVYE AND HIS SEVEN DAUGHTERS have all been ported over from the 'Unconfirmed Widescreen' list, having now been confirmed as scope productions.

The same goes for TSAR AND GENERAL, the copyright year of which has been changed from 1966 to 1965. Similarly, TUNELUL goes from 'unconfirmed' to 'confirmed' scope, and the copyright year changed from 1967 to 1966.
